By creating an account or using PrayerThread, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the platform.

PrayerThread is a tool that helps a church pray together. Churches create prayer sessions, members claim time slots, and each person reads the prayers before theirs and adds their own.

PrayerThreadis not your church. Your church's leaders decide who may join their space, what campuses exist, when sessions run, and what content is appropriate for their congregation. Questions about how your church runs its prayer life belong with your church.

• You must provide accurate information when you sign up, and keep it current.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your sign-in method secure.
• You may not share your account with someone else or sign in as another person.
• You must be old enough to agree to these terms, or be supervised by a parent, guardian, or church leader who is.

People bring real burdens here. When you use PrayerThread, you agree not to:

• Post anything harassing, abusive, hateful, threatening, or deliberately hurtful.
• Share someone else's prayer request, or anything you read here, outside the platform without their permission.
• Post content that is not prayer — advertising, solicitation, spam, or promotion of a business.
• Impersonate another member, a church leader, or the platform itself.
• Attempt to access prayers, requests, journals, or accounts that are not yours.
• Interfere with the platform's operation, security, or availability.
• Use the platform to break the law.

You own the prayers, requests, replies, and testimonies you write. By posting them, you give PrayerThreadpermission to store them and display them to the people your chosen visibility setting allows, and to keep them in your church's prayer archive. That permission exists so the platform can do what you asked it to do — nothing more. We do not license your prayers to anyone else.

Journal entries you write are private to you, and this permission does not extend to showing them to anyone.

Any member can report a prayer or request that does not belong. Your church's leaders review reports and may hide content in their own church's space. We may also remove content or suspend an account that clearly violates these terms, particularly where someone's safety is involved.

Because prayers form a continuous thread, we prefer hiding content over erasing it wherever the archive would otherwise be broken.

We work to keep PrayerThread running and want it to be there when your slot begins. Even so, the platform is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors, and we may change or discontinue features as the platform develops.

To the fullest extent the law allows, PrayerThread and the people behind it are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including lost content or lost access. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You may stop using PrayerThreadand close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms. If your church leaves the platform, your church's leaders are responsible for telling their members and for retrieving their archive beforehand.

We may update these terms as the platform grows. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page, and we will give notice in the app before a significant change takes effect. Continuing to use PrayerThread after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
