Anyone can now invite someone to a prayer, or to the church itself, including with a QR code.

  • ImprovedInvite, at the top of a prayer, now appears for every member while the prayer has not finished, not only for coordinators and admins. It was called Share. Members can copy the link or write an email from their own mail app. Emailing everyone who can see the prayer stays with coordinators and admins.
  • NewHome has an Invite button beside the greeting. It gives you a link to your church's page, and a QR code for it, to invite someone to pray with you. On a phone, Share link sends the link straight to a chat.
  • NewInvite now offers a QR code with the PrayerThread logo in the middle and "Join us in prayer!" under it. Download it to print in a bulletin or put on a screen, or send it straight from your phone. Anyone who scans a prayer's code lands on that prayer; the code from Invite on Home opens your church's page.

    • FixedA prayer day with no set times finished by reporting 0% participation, right next to the count of people who had prayed. There are no times to cover on those days, so there is nothing to measure, and the figure is no longer shown. How many people prayed, and which campuses they prayed from, are still there.
  3. v1.11.2ShowOn a prayer day with no set times, your candle now lights when you pray, however you pray.
    • FixedOn a prayer day with no set times, writing your prayer now lights a candle with your name on it. Before, a candle was only there for people who had tapped "I’ll be praying" first, so someone who simply came and prayed left no light on the page.
    • FixedOn those days, "I’m praying now" lights your candle too. It was saving your answer and showing nothing, so people who prayed quietly were left looking at a page that had not noticed.
    • ImprovedUnder each lit candle it now says whether that person prayed in the thread or in silence, the same way a prayer day with set times already did. The flame looks the same either way.
  4. v1.11.1ShowTwo fixes to repeating prayers, both found by testing the screens a coordinator actually uses.
    • FixedChoosing "this and all following" or "all prayers in the series" when editing one of a repeating set did nothing. The change was saved to the one prayer you had open and the choice was discarded, with no sign anything had been missed. All three choices now do what they say.
    • FixedDeleting a whole repeating prayer left you on a page that no longer existed, so you never saw which prayers had been kept because people had already prayed in them. That is now reported on your list of prayers instead.
  5. v1.11.0ShowA prayer can now repeat, so a week or a month of prayer is set up once instead of a day at a time.
    • NewA scheduled or open prayer can repeat: every day, every week, every two weeks, or every month. You can also set your own pattern, such as every Tuesday and Thursday, or the second Sunday of the month. Say which day it stops on, and each day is created for you.
    • NewBefore anything is created you are told how many prayers you will get, the first and last day, and how many times people can sign up for. If a day already has a prayer on it, it is named and skipped, and the count you see is the count you get.
    • NewA repeating prayer is marked in your list of prayers. Only the next one keeps its own card; the rest fold behind a single row, so a month of daily prayer does not bury everything else.
    • NewDeleting or changing one of a repeating set asks which you mean: this prayer, this one and the ones after it, or all of them. Prayers people have already written in are always kept, and you are told which ones.
    • ImprovedWhen you set up a prayer you now choose the time it ends rather than how many hours it lasts, so a prayer running from 6 AM to midnight can finally be set up as one.
    • ImprovedThe screens for creating and editing a prayer are wider and better laid out. Choosing when a prayer happens, and whether it repeats, now fits on one screen instead of several.
  6. v1.10.1ShowA prayer day that has already started can be edited again.
    • FixedWhile a prayer day was under way, saving a change to it was refused with a message about the start time having passed, even when the start time was not what you were changing. The theme, the notes, whether it is online or in person, who can see it and the prayer prompts can all be edited again once a prayer day has begun.
    • FixedMoving a prayer day to a time that has already passed is still not allowed, because it would clear everyone who had signed up for a time. The message now says that is what it is refusing.

  1. v1.10.0ShowA church can now read PrayerThread in Brazilian Portuguese, and anyone can choose a different language for themselves.
    • NewYour church can set the language it reads in, in Church Settings. Everything a member sees follows it: Home, Scheduled Prayer, the prayer thread, Anytime Prayer, your profile and the Help channel.
    • NewAnyone can choose a different language for themselves, from the menu behind their name at the top right. That choice is remembered, and it wins over what the church has set.
    • NewVisitors to theprayerthread.org can switch language from the row at the top of the page, before they have an account.
    • FixedTimes in a prayer day now read the way the reader writes them. A range that runs for a whole hour used to lose its starting time on a 24-hour clock, showing "19 to 20:00" instead of "19:00 to 20:00".
    • FixedThe notice telling you how many hours ahead a church is could show "NaN hours ahead" outside the United States. It now reads correctly everywhere.
  2. v1.9.1ShowSomeone waiting to be confirmed into a Group is now shown by name, instead of being called "Friend".
    • FixedA person waiting in the Groups list was shown as "Friend" if they had signed in by email link and had not yet said how their church should see them. There was no way to tell who was asking, or to tell two people apart. They are now shown by name. The name no longer gets stuck either: anyone already waiting has been given theirs.
    • FixedAn admin or coordinator who had not chosen a name of their own signed their decisions as "Friend" too, on the same card. They are now named as well.
  3. v1.9.0ShowScheduled Prayer now leads with the day coming soonest, and the box where you write a prayer says what prayer is before you start.
    • FixedComing up listed the day furthest away first, so a prayer day at the end of October could sit ahead of one next week. It now starts with the day coming soonest.
    • NewThe prayer day coming next is marked "Up next", on Scheduled Prayer and on Home, so you can find it without reading the dates.
    • ImprovedShare, Edit and Delete now sit together at the top of a prayer day. Sharing used to be a panel further down the page, which put the three things a leader can do in two different places.
    • ImprovedThe box where you add a prayer now opens by saying what prayer is: simply a conversation with God, where some days there is much to say and some days it is enough to sit quietly with Him. It used to say nothing at all when nobody had written yet, which is the moment it was needed most. Anytime Prayer opens the same way.
  4. v1.8.0ShowThe Group someone says they are in is now confirmed by your church before it opens anything up to them.
    • NewWhen someone joins, they are asked which Group they are in as before. They now start in the Group that sees the least, and an admin or a coordinator confirms them into the one they asked for. Until then they can only see what the whole church can see. They can pray, write and take part from the moment they join, so nobody is left waiting.
    • NewRequests waiting on you appear under Groups in your Inbox, with the person's name and the Group they asked for. Coordinators can confirm them too, so this does not sit with one person. Saying "not yet" changes nothing for that member and they can ask again.
    • ImprovedYour member list now shows which Groups nobody has confirmed, so you can look over the ones that were only ever self declared. Nobody already in your church has been moved, and nobody has lost anything.
    • FixedChoosing your own Group used to be enough to be in it, and a Group decides which prayers a person can read. Somebody joining could put themselves in the most private Group in the church and read what was shared there. That is now something only your leaders can grant.
  5. v1.7.0ShowChanging a prayer session now works the same way as setting one up, and it tells you before a change would cancel anyone's sign up.
    • ImprovedEditing a prayer used to be one long form, even though setting one up walks you through a question at a time. It is now the same walkthrough, opening on a summary of the whole prayer. Change the one thing that is wrong, and you come straight back to the summary to save.
    • NewIf a change would rebuild the schedule, the summary says so before you save, and tells you how many people would lose the time they signed up for. That used to happen quietly, and the first anyone knew of it was being asked where their time had gone.
    • NewSwitching a prayer that people have already signed up for over to open prayer is now explained on the summary instead of failing when you save it. Open prayer has no times, so there would be nowhere for their sign ups to go.
    • ImprovedThe edit screen is wider on a laptop. It was the narrowest page in the app, a thin column down the middle with the rest of the screen empty.
  6. v1.6.0ShowA leader can remove a prayer session that was set up by mistake, and any session people have already prayed in is kept safe from deletion.
    • NewCampus coordinators can now delete a prayer session, not only church admins. Delete sits beside Edit at the top of the session page, so a duplicate or a wrong date is yours to tidy up without waiting on someone else.
    • ImprovedOnce anyone has prayed in a session it can no longer be deleted by anybody, admins included. Those prayers are part of your church's archive and they stay there. The page says so in place of the button, rather than leaving you hunting for something that is not coming back.
    • ImprovedIf people have already claimed a time, deleting the session tells you how many sign ups it will cancel before you confirm it. Nobody loses their time slot quietly.
    • FixedDelete used to be hidden behind a small grey pencil at the top of the session page, with no label on it at all. On a phone there was no way to discover what it did. Edit and Delete now say what they are.
  7. v1.5.1ShowA prayer with a long list of times no longer buries the prayers on a phone, even before the day begins.
    • FixedOn a phone, a prayer that had not started yet was still listing every one of its times. On a day made of forty eight half hours that meant scrolling about four screens before you could add a prayer of your own. It now shows six and keeps the rest behind "Show all times", which is what it already did once a prayer was under way.
    • ImprovedBefore a prayer begins, the six times you are shown are the ones you can act on: any you have signed up for first, then the ones still free. Nobody is praying yet and nothing has passed, so those are the times worth putting in front of you. The rest are one tap away.
  8. v1.5.0ShowThe line at the top of Home now takes you where it points, and the header around it is smaller and warmer.
    • ImprovedThe line at the top of Home is now something you can tap. When it says prayer times are still waiting for someone, tapping it opens that prayer and takes you straight to the list of times, instead of leaving you to find it yourself. The same goes for the line about your own prayer time and the one naming what the church is praying about next.
    • ImprovedThe greeting now shows the time of day: a sunrise in the morning, the sun in the afternoon, a moon in the evening. The small house that used to sit there looked like a button you could press, which it never was.
    • ImprovedThe top of Home takes up less room. The writing is smaller, the lines sit closer together, and the two things you can do up there, sharing a prayer request and following the line about prayer times, now look like each other and sit side by side.
    • ImprovedUpcoming Sessions and My Prayer Times each carry a small picture beside the heading, so the two are easier to tell apart at a glance.
    • FixedOne version of the line at the top of Home, the one naming what the next prayer is about, was showing as a plain outlined box with no colour in it.
  9. v1.4.0ShowYou no longer need a time of your own to be counted. Pray along whenever you can, say so, and the community candle counts you.
    • NewYou do not have to have signed up for a time to say you prayed. If you prayed along with a prayer and would rather not write, tap "I’m praying now" and the community candle at the end of the row lights for you, just as it already did for somebody who writes without having signed up. Until now, praying quietly without a time of your own was the one way of taking part that left no trace on the page at all.
    • ImprovedThe community candle now says how many people joined in without a time of their own, instead of looking the same whether it was one person or ten. It counts people rather than prayers, so if you pray quietly and then write as well, you are counted once.
  10. v1.3.1ShowThe campus filter on a prayer takes one row instead of a row of buttons, so the times you can sign up for start higher up the page.
    • ImprovedIf your church has more than one campus, choosing a campus is now one row carrying the name of the campus you are looking at, rather than a button for every campus. Tap it to pick a different one, the same as before. On a church with four campuses that gives back two rows of space above the first time anyone can claim.
    • ImprovedA church with a single campus no longer sees a campus filter at all, because there was nothing for it to narrow down to. It had been showing two buttons that led to the same list.
  11. v1.3.0ShowYou can now light your candle for a time you prayed but did not write about, and it counts the same as any other.
    • NewIf you prayed your half hour and would rather not write, tap "I’m praying now". Your candle lights like everyone else’s, and the only difference is the small note beneath it, which reads "in silence" instead of "in the thread". Until now the page showed an unlit candle under your name for a half hour you had in fact prayed.
    • ImprovedA candle lit that way counts wherever prayer is counted: how many candles are lit, which campuses took part, and how much of the day was covered. The one number that stays as it was is the count of prayers in the thread, because that counts what was written, and searching the thread has to agree with it.
    • NewWhile a prayer is running, a line beneath the candles can tell you how many people are praying in it at that moment. It appears only once three or more have said so within the last half hour, so a quiet stretch shows nothing rather than telling the one person there that they are on their own.
    • ImprovedYou can take the tap back whenever you like, and writing is always still open to you. Add a prayer afterwards and your candle simply moves from "in silence" to "in the thread".
  12. v1.2.0ShowThe list of times on a prayer is shorter and easier to search, so the prayers themselves are the first thing you reach.
    • ImprovedOn a phone, a prayer with a long list of times now shows six of them and keeps the rest behind "Show all times". A day with thirty two half hours used to put the first prayer almost four screens down, so you scrolled past the whole timetable to read a word anybody had written. The six you are shown are the ones that matter: whoever is praying right now, your own times, and what is still to come.
    • NewThe two numbers above the list, how many times still need somebody and how many are yours, can now be tapped to show only those. Tap again to see everything. It is the quickest way to find a gap worth filling, or to check when you are on.
    • ImprovedNothing is ever hidden before a prayer begins, when signing up for a time is the only reason to be there.
    • ImprovedThe place where you add your prayer reads more simply. "Write your prayer now" and the invitation to read what others have written are no longer repeated three times over, and the advice to read first now sits once, above the button.
  13. v1.1.0ShowAnyone can now find their church on PrayerThread and join it, without being sent a link first.
    • ImprovedOnce you pick your church, the sign-in page greets you by its name — “Join Hosanna Church” rather than a generic welcome — so you can see your choice is still in hand while you wait for the link.
    • NewThere is now a Find Your Church page, open to anyone, whether or not they have signed in. Search for your church by name or by the town it is in, pick it, and sign in afterwards — you come back to the church you chose. Until now the only way in was a link from your own church, so anyone who was simply told "we are on PrayerThread" arrived at the front page and found nothing for them.
    • NewFind Your Church is now the button at the top right of every page, where Start Your Church used to be. Starting a church has not gone anywhere — it is the first thing offered on the Find Your Church page, under “My church is not here yet”. It is also on the front page, at the foot of the About Us and What is Prayer pages, and on the sign-in page.
    • ImprovedThe church list is laid out to be read rather than scrolled. Churches appear as cards several to a row with their town beneath the name, twelve at a time, and the page always says how many there are in total.
    • NewChurches now record which country they are in, asked when a church registers and changeable any time under Church Settings. Once there is more than one country on PrayerThread, the country appears beside each church and you can narrow the list to one — so the Springfield in Missouri and the Springfield in Essex are told apart.
    • ImprovedRegistering a church from outside the United States is no longer awkward. The time zone list offered seven American zones and then several hundred unsorted ones; it now names the common zones for the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, Singapore, the Philippines, Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa as well.
  14. v1.0.0ShowPrayerThread is out of beta. The beta notice is gone, and What’s New opens on the latest release instead of all of them.
    • ImprovedPrayerThread is no longer in beta. The beta badge beside the name and the notice under it are gone from every page. Nothing about how the site works changed with them: the prayer thread has been carrying real prayer since June, and the label had been the last thing still saying otherwise.
    • ImprovedWhat’s New used to list every release open on one page, which had grown to around sixty screens on a phone. It now opens on the latest release, and everything before it is gathered a month at a time, each release showing its version, date and a one-line summary until you open it. On a laptop there is a list of months down the left to jump by.
  15. v0.37.0ShowChurch admins can see at a glance when something is waiting for them.
    • NewAn Inbox button now sits at the top right of every page for church admins, with a count of anything waiting: questions members have asked, and anything that has been reported. On a phone the same count appears on your home page instead, as "2 things need you", so it is never hidden behind a smaller screen.
    • ImprovedThe count is one number covering both kinds of thing, because the question an admin is asking is how much needs them, not how it is filed. Opening it takes you straight to whichever list is waiting. Nothing appears at all when there is nothing to do.
  16. v0.36.0ShowYou can ask your church a question from any page, and read the answer in the same place.
    • NewA Help button now sits at the top right of every page, next to your name. It opens a page of common questions, and a box for asking your church something that is not there. Your question goes to your own church’s admins, nobody else, and their answer appears under it on the same page.
    • NewThe common questions are now readable once you have signed in. Until now they were only on the public website, so they disappeared the moment you joined a church. You can search them, and they match on the answers as well as the headings.
    • ImprovedAdmins are emailed when a member asks a question, and the member is emailed when it is answered. An admin who would rather someone else fielded them can turn those emails off from their profile, without giving up any other kind of email.
    • ImprovedThe admin page that used to be called Reported Content is now called Inbox, and holds members’ questions alongside anything that has been reported. Each has its own tab with a count.
    • ImprovedYour profile now lets you choose whether to hear about newly announced prayer times. That choice existed but had no switch, so the only way to change it was the link at the bottom of one of those emails.
    • FixedThe admin record of sent emails listed announcements under a raw internal name instead of calling them session announcements.
  17. v0.35.2ShowThe candles on a prayer day are easier to see, and the flame now sits on the wick.
    • ImprovedOn a day with more than twelve prayer times, the candles shrink so the whole row fits above the prayers. They had become hard to make out, and a lit candle looked much like an unlit one. The candles are larger now, a lit one gives off light, and an unlit one reads as a candle waiting for its prayer rather than as a faint mark.
    • FixedThe flame floated slightly above the wick on every candle. It now sits on it.
  18. v0.35.1ShowA scheduled prayer with no prayer times set no longer says it is fully staffed.
    • FixedA scheduled prayer that has no prayer times yet used to announce “Fully Staffed, all slots filled”, and show “0/0 slots” in the list. It now says there are no prayer times yet, and tells a coordinator that nobody can sign up until some are added.
  19. v0.35.0ShowYou can search the prayers now, on Anytime Prayer and inside a session, and neither page makes you scroll through everything to find what you came for.
    • NewYou can search everything the church has prayed. The search on Scheduled Prayer looks through the prayers written on every day, and each result says who wrote it, at which campus, and which day it came from, so you can open that day and read around it. Coordinators and admins can also search by the name of the person who wrote a prayer.
    • ImprovedScheduled Prayer now opens with what is coming up, and the months behind it are listed one row at a time with the number of prayers written in each. Press a month to open it. A year of prayer used to be about ten screens of scrolling on a phone; it is now about two, and it stays that way however many years there are.
    • ImprovedThe separate Prayer Archive page has been folded into Scheduled Prayer. The two listed the same days and opened the same sessions, and each day now shows how many prayers were written on it.
    • ImprovedScheduled Prayer and Anytime Prayer now say what they are for under their titles, so a member arriving for the first time can tell what each page is asking of them.
    • ImprovedAnytime Prayer has been tidied up. The page says what it is for, sharing a request explains that someone can pray with you, and the tabs, search and order now sit together on one line instead of stacking four bars above the first prayer.
    • NewYou can read Anytime Prayer from the first prayer anyone shared, not only the latest, with the same button the session thread uses.
    • NewYou can search the prayers. On Anytime Prayer the box looks through what people wrote and any testimony they added; inside a scheduled session it looks through the prayers in that thread. Searching never looks up a person by name, so a prayer shared anonymously stays anonymous.
    • NewAnytime Prayer now has the same “Back to top” button a session thread has, so after reading a long way down you can get back to sharing your own prayer in one press.
    • ImprovedThe top of a session’s Prayer Log is tidier. One button now shows which way round you are reading and turns the thread over when you press it, and the search box appears when you ask for it rather than sitting there all the time. The prayers themselves start higher up the page.
    • ImprovedAnytime Prayer now opens with the twenty most recent prayers and a button to show more. It used to load every prayer at once, which got slower for everyone the longer a church had been praying together.
    • ImprovedActive and Answered each load and count on their own, so opening Answered no longer waits on prayers you are not looking at.
    • ImprovedIf someone shares a prayer while you are reading, showing more no longer repeats a prayer you have already seen or skips one you have not. The new prayer is waiting at the top next time you open the page.
  20. v0.34.2ShowHome shows recent prayers again for members whose Group sits further out.
    • FixedHome shows recent prayers again for members in an outer Group. It asked for the five newest prayers first and only afterwards checked which of them the member was allowed to see, so if all five belonged to a Group they were not in, the section came up empty even though there were prayers for them a little further down the list.
  21. v0.34.1ShowFixes for sign-in on a slow connection and for registering a church on a phone, plus calmer page movement for anyone whose device is set to reduce motion.
    • FixedSign-in links now send even when you type your email address before the page has finished loading. On a slow connection the address could go missing between the box you typed it in and the button, and the page answered with a technical message instead of sending the link.
    • FixedRegistering a church on a phone no longer runs off the side of the screen. The box for your church web address sat beside the prayerthread.com/join/ label and the two together were wider than a phone, so you could not see the address you were typing. It now sits on its own line on a phone, and stays beside the label on a larger screen.
    • FixedCampus names in Church Settings, and your name on the welcome card, no longer push their rows wider than a phone screen.
    • ImprovedIf your phone or computer is set to reduce motion, pages now move straight to where you are going instead of gliding there.
  22. v0.34.0ShowEvery page now uses more of a laptop screen and starts a little higher up it, so there is less scrolling to reach what you came for.
    • ImprovedPages are wider on a laptop. The wide empty margins down each side have been narrowed, which gives lists, prayer times and the prayer log more room on a line and so fewer lines to scroll through.
    • ImprovedEvery page starts closer to the top. The band of empty space above each heading has been reduced, on every screen in the app.
    • ImprovedOn a scheduled prayer, the list of prayer times down the left is now noticeably wider, so times and names sit more comfortably on one line.
    • ImprovedNothing changes on a phone. The new width is a limit that no phone reaches, and the space kept clear for the buttons along the bottom is untouched.
  23. v0.33.0ShowYou can now answer someone's prayer in your own words, in a scheduled prayer as well as in Anytime Prayer, and thank the people who prayed for you without writing a whole reply back.
    • NewYou can reply to one particular prayer during a scheduled prayer. Until now the only way to answer somebody was to pick a reaction, or to write your own prayer into the thread and hope they knew it was meant for them.
    • NewReplies can be reacted to, in scheduled prayers and in Anytime Prayer alike. Thank you is the one this is really for: when several people pray for you, you can thank each of them without adding another reply to your own request.
    • NewYour Home screen now tells you when somebody has replied to a prayer you wrote, the same way it already tells you when somebody responds to a prayer request you shared. Nothing is emailed about it.
    • NewA prayer from months ago can still be replied to. Reading back through the record and wanting to pray something again is never too late.
    • ImprovedYou can fix your own reply if a word comes out wrong. It shows that it was edited, and nobody else can change your words for you.
    • ImprovedReplies stay tucked under the prayer they answer until you open them, so a long thread still reads as a thread. Each prayer says how many replies it has.
  24. v0.32.0ShowPrayerThread is in beta. Setting up a prayer takes you a question at a time, and a prayer can now be an open day rather than a sign-up sheet.
    • ImprovedPrayerThread is now in beta rather than alpha. The prayer thread has been carrying real prayer since June, and the old notice, "you may spot a few rough edges while we build", was answering "can I trust this?" with "probably not", which is not what we meant and is not true of the thread.
    • ImprovedCreating a scheduled prayer now asks one question at a time instead of showing one long form. At the end you see everything you chose on a single screen, and you can change any answer before anything is created.
    • NewWhile you are choosing who a prayer is for, it tells you how many people that actually reaches. Choosing a Group and a campus both narrow the same audience, and it was easy to end up addressing far fewer people than you meant to.
    • NewA prayer can now be an open day instead of a timetable. There is no sign-up sheet: anyone who can see it prays whenever they can and adds to the thread. People tap "I'll be praying" so you know who is coming, and a candle waits with their name on it until their prayer arrives.
    • NewYou can add prayer prompts alongside the theme: specific things to pray through. They take turns beneath the theme and beside the box where people write, so a long prayer time has somewhere to travel instead of everyone answering the same sentence.
    • NewThe moment you create a prayer you are given the link to share, and you can come back to it any time from "Invite people to this prayer". The link opens straight onto the prayer even for someone who has never signed in.
    • NewYou can also let us send the invitation for you, by email, to everyone who can see the prayer. You read the exact wording and the number of people first, and nothing is sent until you say so. Anyone can stop these emails without losing the reminders for prayer times they signed up for themselves.
    • ImprovedThe Home page now lists your prayer times of both kinds (times you signed up for and open days you said you would pray at), and each one takes you to its prayer. The schedule says which kind each prayer is, so you can tell at a glance whether you need to pick a time.

Your prayer requests now starts closed, with the number of requests beside it and a Show button, because it is your own writing and you already know what it says. The prayer feed never hides. It shows three prayers with a button to open the rest, since reading what the church has prayed is what most people come to Home for.
    • ImprovedYour prayer requests only lists a request once somebody has actually responded to it, and only for 30 days after you shared it. A card that sat there reporting nothing was telling you the one thing this section exists to avoid. Nothing is lost: every request you have ever shared is still on the Prayer Requests page and on its own page.

    • NewIf you spot something in a prayer request you shared (a typo, a detail that has changed, a name you would rather not have used), you can now fix it instead of deleting it and starting again. Open your request and choose Edit. You can change the words, who can see it, which campuses it goes to, whether your name is shown, and whether you are asking others to pray with you now. The request carries a small "edited" note afterwards, so anyone who already prayed for it knows the wording changed. Once you mark a request answered it is settled, and can no longer be edited.
    • NewYou can also fix your own prayer in a scheduled prayer session, for as long as that session is still running. After it ends the thread is kept exactly as it was prayed, so looking back on it later shows what really happened. Leaders can still hide or remove anything that needs it, but nobody can rewrite what someone else wrote.
    • FixedChoosing a smaller group for a prayer request now really does keep it inside that group. Before, narrowing the group took the request off the prayer wall, but anyone with a direct link could still open it.

When the whole session is covered, every candle is lit. Very large sessions show a smaller candle wall so the page stays easy to scroll.
