Who We Are

Born from a mission to reach beyond the walls of a single campus.

Our Story

One Church, One Continuous Prayer

Hosanna Church has always believed that prayer changes everything — not only for the one who kneels, but for entire communities that rise. Jesus Himself taught us to come boldly and expectantly: “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you” (Matthew 7:7). Prayer was never meant to be a whisper in the dark. It was meant to move heaven.

Out of that conviction came a bold vision: a seamless culture of prayer across every Hosanna campus and every city we touch — identifying, connecting, and equipping local prayer ministries to stand together as one. Together we pray for revival, for the healing of spirit, soul, and body, and for the church to shine — preparing our environments and our hearts for the return of Christ Jesus. For He promised: “Where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20).

What began as a prayer team has become something far greater: a prayer army. No longer a handful of intercessors carrying the weight alone, but an entire congregation taking ownership of prayer — shoulder to shoulder, voice after voice. Jesus urged us to this very kind of persistence, telling His disciples a parable “that men always ought to pray and not lose heart” (Luke 18:1).

PrayerThread was built to make that vision real. It weaves volunteers across all campuses into one continuous prayer — a single, unbroken thread running through the whole body of Christ. When one person finishes praying, the next picks up right where they left off. Like the early church, we “continued steadfastly… in prayers” (Acts 2:42), never letting the flame go out. Day and night, the current keeps flowing, just as Jesus modeled when He “went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God” (Luke 6:12).

The result is a living record of a church drawing nearer to Jesus — together. One thread. One family. One unceasing conversation with our Father, exactly as our Lord taught us: “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

“Lord, teach us to pray” (Luke 11:1) — and so we do, together, until He comes.
